My heart is broken. My sweet kitty cat of almost 16 years died last night. She waited till after my birthday. It was painful to watch and quite sudden. I was glad I was there and she wasn’t alone. I am glad she went on her own terms and I didn’t have to make a choice. I knew that might need to happen in the next year but not yet. Not the day after my birthday. A chunk of my heart is gone and I miss her so much already. I am still having a hard time believing she is gone. Chris took the day off and has been taking care of me. We went to the woods to find some peace.

Her sleeping under my pillow.
Crying for food like she is on fire.
Her cuddles.
Her stealing my food.
The way she patted me with her paw for attention.
How much she loved Chris and tolerated Karma. (She did give her kisses twice.)

What hurts the most is she was always there for me when I am sad and now I need her and she is gone. I love you Char Char Bables, my sweet baby!
